View source for WEB OLC

We have set up a WebOLC utility for easy editing of zones with your web browser.  To access this you go to http://www.addictmud.org/wolc.  Click on "OLC Port", and login using your character name and password that you have created on the OLC port (4001).  You will be able to access your zone via the web and build there.

Rooms, mobs, objects, scripts and shops can all be built through this method.  

Room building is pretty much self-explanatory.  Any questions regarding the flags available and what is expected in a zone is found in [[OLC TIPS]].  Doors are a bit strange and get some taking used to.

The only thing that cannot be done via the WebOLC are the loading of mobs and objects into rooms, and loading items objects of other objects.  Items that load on mobs are done through the Mob screen on the mob itself not through [[ZEDIT]].

For the items built via the WebOLC can be reloaded individually with into the OLC port with the [[MRELOAD]] and [[ORELOAD]] commands.  This is great for making changes and testing individual items.  For mass editing, or for changes to rooms and scripts, a reboot of the OLC port is needed to get them into the OLC port.
